Women's Empowerment and Care Programme Manager (INT4289)

Oxfam's Women's Economic Empowerment team is seeking an exceptional Programme Manager who is motivated by the fight to improve women’s rights and challenge power structures that enable social injustice and inequality.

This senior role requires an experienced programme manager to provide strategic leadership to a complex, ground-breaking multi-country programme operational in Asia and Africa, with high-profile donors and external communications.

The programme addresses unpaid care and domestic work in six countries and internationally, together with a global corporate partner and a range of women’s rights organisations and national NGOs. This programme uniquely combines the implementation of water infrastructure and equipment, with challenging the social and cultural norms associated with unequal gender roles, and advocacy and influencing with institutions. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to shape and deliver the most substantial programme of Oxfam’s Women’s Economic Empowerment strategy.

The post-holder will join a global team responsible for advancing thinking, influencing policy and practice, and managing multi-country programmes promoting innovative approaches to ‘new issues’ in development.

This is an opportunity for an exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs. If you believe you are the candidate we are looking for, please download the full job description and apply online by clicking the below button.
