Partnership Advisor (INT10432)

LOCATION: Poland. To transition to Ukraine from November 2024

 

The Role:

 

The Partnership Advisor leads partnership processes in the Ukraine Emergency Response, managing relationships with partners, coordinating with response teams, and mitigating partnership risks.

 

They support scoping, building, and maintaining partnerships, assist in joint programming and advocacy, and ensure adherence to Oxfam's partnership principles and commitments. Additionally, they facilitate capacity building for civil society organizations in humanitarian delivery and alliance building.

 

Who we are looking for: 

 

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.  An ideal candidate for the role will also have:

 

  • Experience in emergency response within displaced populations, including volatile environments.
  • Proven skills in brokering, developing, and managing humanitarian partnerships with various entities in challenging settings.
  • A strong grasp of humanitarian and development issues, with sensitivity to regional political dynamics and collaboration with CSOs.
  • Demonstrated exceptional people skills, fostering collaboration and building networks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills internally and externally, engaging with stakeholders such as government bodies, NGOs, donors, and media.
  • Proven capability to contribute to strategic planning for program advancement.
  • Skills and experience in assessment, analysis, project management, and PMEAL processes.
  • Proven ability in mentoring, facilitation, training, and capacity building.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Ukrainian is a plus.
