The People Team contributes to Oxfam’s organisational effectiveness to enable us to end the injustice of poverty. Our aim is to support Oxfam to deliver our mission, whilst ensuring organisational health, and supporting the wellbeing of Oxfam’s staff and volunteers.

 

What we are looking for:

 

To support our work, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong organisation and interpersonal skills to provide expert HR support and advice to Oxfam employees, including regular communications with senior management.

 

Working in a busy HR team, we are looking for an individual who can act as trusted adviser supporting a broad spectrum of employees, across multiple locations, ensuring our people management approach is a core part of Oxfam’s overall business strategy.  

 

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnership you will provide HR generalist support on all areas of the discipline such as giving guidance and advice on frontline queries on all areas of HR policy, recruitment, and responding to queries from managers and staff.   You will be organised resilient, and proactive with a can-do attitude.

You would also be providing insight into HR trends at Oxfam using relevant management information, so must be skilled in planning, numeracy and using IT.
