FIELD ASSISTANT (E1 Grade) INT5211

 

About the Position:

 

The key aspects of the job are field based community organization, planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of activities related to Climate Adaptation for Rural Livelihoods Project in line with the Annual Work Plan; training farmers in improved climate change adaptation initiatives including catchment management. The job will also aim to link private sector players and producer groups. The incumbent will be stationed within the ward clusters in the district reporting to the District Team Leader

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

  • A diploma/degree in Agriculture/Development Studies/Project Management/Natural Resources Management or an equivalent qualification
  • Class 3/4 Driver’s license
  •  Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle is a must
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in the development field.
  • Ability to work with teams, communicate and coordinate with government departments and other agencies at various levels.
  • Knowledge of development issues, trends, challenges and opportunities and implications to community development
