Country Finance Lead (INT9915)

Do you have 10 years of experience in Financial Management with multiple projects, partners, and multi-donor portfolios?

 

Do you have experience in managing the day-to-day financial management and operations activity for a large and complex operating unit?

 

Do you have experience in interpreting various financial information and reports and can provide analyses and advice to country managers?

 

Do you have hands-on experience using financial software and expert in MS Excel in analyzing financial reports?

The Role:

 

As a senior member of the Oxfam in Indonesia Finance team and part of the Oxfam Leaders Team, the Country Finance Lead is expected to contribute actively to the efficiency and effectiveness of the country’s financial systems and procedures and monitor their adherence at all levels. To be held accountable for the accuracy and completeness of the financial information and for keeping the financial information updated for the Indonesia Programme with a portfolio of around 10 different donors’ donor-funded projects at a time and more than 15 local implementing partners’ contracts. He/she ensures smooth treasury management, budgeting, reporting, and Partner support for the country to achieve finance strategies and financial action. In addition, hands-on finance work in day-to-day operations with excellent time management in complex environments, and technical skills.  Oxfam is moving forward to affiliate, the Country Finance Lead role requires ensuring a smooth change process in the country in two years with good analytical thinking in Financial risk management.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

    • Professional Finance and Accountancy qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc
    • Hands-on experience using financial software, Oxfam in Indonesia uses OPAL and Finance Peoplesoft.
    • Expert in using MS Excel as most of the financial operations data using Excel format.
    • Experience managing the performance of others and helping people to develop, grow, and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and/or workplaces.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proactive, responsible, and flexible.
    • Strong deadlines management skills
    • Innovative
    • Proficient communication and presentation skills
    • High standards of performance
    • Understand local Indonesia tax-related matters.
    • Working experience with International NGO
    • Experience in dealing with local CSOs as the implementing partners.
