The Role


The consultant will be in charge of conducting a comprehensive informative study on campaigning for young people’s SRHR in Iraq.

Through this consultancy, Oxfam aims at obtaining relevant information on risks, threats, and opportunities of campaigning on young people’s SRHR in Iraq for campaigns that are either INGO-led, National NGO led or youth-led. The findings of this study will be used to direct the strategy and the approach of Masarouna to campaigning on this specific topic.


What we are looking for


Our next consultant will require;

Skills and experiences:

  • At least 5 years of prior similar working experience on campaigning
  • Experience on young people’s SRHR campaigns is an asset
  • Good knowledge of the Iraqi context and relevant network within the SRHR sector in Iraq
  • Expertise in gender and human rights-based approaches in data analysis
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders and to express concisely and clearly ideas and concepts
  • Excellent writing skills


  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Knowledge of Iraqi Kurdish is an asset.
