The Roving Senior International HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in strengthening Oxfam GB’s global people support by delivering high‑quality strategic and operational HR partnership to country programmes. Working closely with the Senior International HR Manager, this role ensures that Oxfam’s HR standards, policies, and practices are consistently applied across diverse and complex operating environments.
As a senior member of the International HR team, you will coordinate and contribute to the delivery of complex, multi‑country HR initiatives, collaborating with a network of International HRBPs to drive organisational effectiveness and support country leadership teams. You will provide expert, solutions‑focused HR advice to senior managers and in‑country HR staff, ensuring alignment with Oxfam’s strategy, safeguarding commitments, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
This role works in close partnership with HR centres of expertise across Oxfam GB and Oxfam International, ensuring that country teams have access to specialist guidance on areas such as employee relations, reward, organisational development, and workforce planning. As a roving position, you will travel regularly to provide hands‑on support, build capability, and strengthen HR systems and practices in country offices.
