Oxfam Syria is looking for Protection Team Leader
The Protection Team Leader is responsible for ensuring safe, day-to-day implementation of the Emergency Response and Early Recovery activities, in line with OXFAM Safe Programming standards.. The Protection Team Leader will assess and identify cases of individuals, families and communities affected by the conflict, and identify the relevant modality and sphere of protection assistance and response needed to address the identified protection risks, as per SoPs and guidelines endorsed by Oxfam in Syria. The Protection Team Leader will establish collaboration with displaced communities in rural, peri-urban and urban areas, as well as with local Protection actors, including partners, as well as assess and identify entry points for community-based protection and individual protection assistance. The Protection Team Leader will also lead the principled planning and implementation of AGD-sensitive kit distributions to individuals at heightened protection risk, in line with Oxfam Syria’s endorsed SoPs and guidelines. The Team Leader will handle regular reporting and identification of gaps and duplication in services to improve the assistance to individuals and communities at protection risks.
