The Role:

 

As an Income Assistant (Trainee Accountant), you will play an important role within Oxfam's Finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of income-related transactions in the Newcastle Finance Office. You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing activities across designated areas of the Income team, ensuring financial information is recorded accurately and in line with established procedures.

 

Alongside your operational responsibilities, you will support the development of volunteers within the team by providing training, guidance and day-to-day supervision. Working closely with colleagues across the Finance function, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of financial administration while developing your own accounting knowledge and experience in a purpose-driven organisation.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and an interest in pursuing a career in accountancy or finance.
