  • Do you have a strong professional qualification and background in human resource management and administration, and a strong background in non-profit human resource management

 

  • Do you have a Bacheler’s degree (BA degree) in a related field is required (business administration, human resource management). Certified HR specialist qualification is preferred.

 

  • Do you have a minimum of 5 years of non-profit experience required; a preference for 8 years of experience with a range of non-profit, corporate or government experience. A detailed understanding of non-profit human resource management functions is critical.

The Role:

 

Oxfam GB in South Sudan is looking for Human Resources Coordinator who will:

Lead and support the country leadership to promote and maintain an organizational culture of teamwork, commitment to accountability, empowerment, innovation, and inclusiveness. Reporting to the Director of Business Support, the role will lead and direct Oxfam in South Sudan’s Human Resource’s function, ensuring that we create and maintain a productive, supportive, and congenial work environment where everyone works with dedication to realise the established mission and objectives as an organization  

What we are looking for:

 

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

 

An ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of non-profit experience required; a preference for 8 years of experience with a range of non-profit, corporate or government experience. A detailed understanding of non-profit human resource management functions is critical.
  • Ability to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational planning.
  • Significant experience of optimizing human resources and effectively manage diverse teams, both local and international.
  • Proven track record of success in representing an organization with partners, government agencies, and private foundations at senior level: nationally and globally.
  • Awareness of and demonstrated commitment to Oxfam’s values, mission and work,
  • Good interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and South Sudan languages is highly desirable.
