The Role:

 

Are you a strategic digital leader ready to make a global impact? Join Oxfam as our Head of Digital and drive the transformation of how we connect, communicate, and campaign in a digital world.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and deliver a bold, organisation-wide Digital Strategy—maximising the power of Owned, Earned, Shared, and Paid media to support our mission for social justice. You’ll collaborate across diverse teams, helping embed digital thinking and capability into everything we do—from supporter engagement to campaigning and communications.

 

Leading a talented Digital Team, you’ll harness the latest tools, platforms, and data-driven insights to grow our reach, deepen our engagement, and amplify our impact.

 

What we are looking for:

 

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

 

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • An inspiring, collaborative leader that encourages integration and supports their team to succeed.
  • Experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces.
  •  Proven experience of successfully creating and delivering digital strategies optimising income across digital channels and increasing supporter engagement.
  •  Strong knowledge of digital strategies, content management, web development and analytics
  •  Experience of managing large-scale digital projects
  •  Experience of project management, including agile techniques and tools
  •  Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and with external partners
  •  Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to communicate digital technology, developments and best practice to non-technical audiences
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Strategic thinker with a passion for digital innovation
