Finance Partnership Coordinator (National) (INT10564)

 

 

The Role:

 

Finance Partnership Coordinator oversees financial management and program support for Oxfam's partnerships. Key duties include assessing partner financial capabilities, ensuring compliance with Oxfam and donor guidelines, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves reviewing financial reports, collaborating with program teams, leading capacity-building sessions, and supporting audits. Regular field visits, partner communication, and updating records are required. The coordinator also promotes gender justice, equity, and diversity while maintaining strong relationships with partners and authorities.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Qualification in finance and accounting with sufficient financial management experience including budgeting, analytical, forecasting, funding coordinating, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (accounting/finance)  
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements. 
  • Experience in supporting partners (NGOs/CBOs) on financial management, sub-grant and contract management.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to details and strong computer literacy, with proven experience of computerized accounting packages. Strong proven experience in using Excel spreadsheets. 
  • Ability in building finance management capacity and delivering financial trainings.
  • Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs. Ability to work within minimal supervision. 
  • Willingness to travel as project financial monitoring.
  • Commitment to Oxfam’s overall aims, objectives and values including commitment to diversity and promoting gender equity in all aspects of work.
  • Strong team building and motivational skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and efficient time management, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Adherence to Oxfam’s vision and principles, including feminist and humanitarian principles.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with proven track record of publications and wide range of writing (policy papers, briefs, blogs etc). 
  • Knowledge of the Ukrainian and/or Russian language is an added value.
