Finance Officer (National) (INT10623)

 

 

Finance Officer will be managing timely disbursements (cash and bank), preparing and reconciling monthly bank and cash reports, and supporting the Finance Manager with financial tasks such as budget preparation, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Their duties also include auditing payments, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor regulations, and maintaining proper documentation. Finance Officer will be also coordinating with various departments such as Logistics, HR, and external stakeholders (banks, tax authorities). Additionally, they will support audits, manage staff reimbursements, and ensure financial compliance during field visits to sub-offices.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong team player and proactive problem-solver
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills for ensuring compliance with policies
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken)
  • University degree in Finance/Accountancy or relevant experience with international agencies/NGOs
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in team management and capacity building
  • Competency in financial systems and accuracy
  • Strong planning, influencing, and networking skills
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft database (desirable)
  • Proactive, willing to recommend improvements
