The Role:

Oxfam Syria  is looking for EFSVL Officer ( Value chain ) to To implement and monitor the FSL activities at field level with participation of key stakeholders including 
Oxfam field staff, Village Development Committees, financial service providers local authorities and other 
agribusiness actors along the value chain

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

• Demonstrated experience in implementing market -based and value chain related food security and 
livelihood project activities
• Solid experience in Value chain 
• Demonstrated experience in use of participatory approaches to undertake value chain intervention, 
assessment and analysis with community leaders, local authorities, private and market actors and 
local partners
• Experience in gender and protection mainstreaming 
• Strong understanding of local socio-economic development issues, institutions and local contexts for 
target communities
• Strong ability to work within team and consult with a wide range of staff colleagues

• Flexibility and ability to manage work stress and to work under highly pressure. Able to spend 75% 
time in the field
• Pro-active and with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
