Oxfam GB is looking for 4 new freelance copy-editors (English x 2, Spanish x 1, French x 1) to add to our highly skilled and highly trusted pool.
The freelancer copyeditors work closely with the Editorial Managers in the Research & Publishing Team to ensure Oxfam publications generated by teams and partners from across the global confederation are produced to a consistently high standard before being published on Policy & Practice, Oxfam’s main global resources hub.
Most of our reports are drafted in English. However a small number are drafted in French and Spanish so we also need to expand our freelancer pool to ensure we have the necessary skills set

We contact the freelance copyeditors in our pool as and when requests arise, with workflows varying across the year. As such, we are not able to guarantee a certain amount of work in any given period. As a rough guide, some of our copyeditors will undertake a piece of work for us once every two months.
We commit to paying a fair rate, to paying in a timely manner, and to ensuring dignified work.
We offer support and training to help our freelancers build a strong understanding of Oxfam’s brand guidelines and the key, transformative feminist, decolonial and anti-racist framings and approaches we are committed to applying to our work, including publications.
