GHT is looking for someone to be the point of contact for all administration including Projects, Information Technology, communication tools, procurement and meeting and events management (50%). To facilitate the deployment of staff to Oxfam’s Humanitarian Programmes, by providing complex time critical travel logistics (50%).
This role is based in Oxfam House in Oxford, with some flexibility to work from home. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
• Proven administrative experience and excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to take own initiative to solve complex problems relating to visas and travel logistics and work independently with limited upward referral
• The ability to work accurately with attention to detail, following key procedures and policies in place.
• Experience in project management.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple complex activities in the same timeline to deadlines exhibiting a highly adaptable, pro-active, and flexible approach to managing work in demanding situations to deliver deadlines
• Ability to write quality written communications, fluent in spoken and written English
• Active team member who communicates with colleagues on a regular basis to share knowledge and understanding and problem solve as a team.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• High levels of discretion and respect for confidentiality
At interview, shortlisted candidates will also be assessed on our values and organisational attributes, as outlined above.
Desirable
• Experience within the International Development and Humanitarian Sector.
• Experience of administering travel logistics
• Experience with cloud-based storage and face to face, virtual meetings, and events
• Customer-service skills
• Lived experiences with intersecting systems of oppression, with knowledge and experience of how power and privilege play out in the countries we work with, including the UK.
• Languages would be an advantage
